阿嬤的四萬令吉

“現在經濟不好，生活越來越困難，相信更多人需要慈濟的幫忙。”阿嬤相約志工到銀行，要捐出一生的儲蓄。她說：“我還有二千令吉，這筆錢夠我生活許久了。”

七十多歲、瘦骨嶙峋的李阿嬤是獨居老人，住在吉隆坡鬧市的木屋區已數十年。她沒有固定的工作，偶爾撿撿紙皮、靠拾荒過活。

一天，阿嬤身體不舒服，她聽說鬧市裡有間慈濟義診中心，專門讓窮人免費看病；於是，抱著試試看的心情推開了義診中心的大門。她看見不少中風的病人來針灸，還有坐在輪椅上的截肢病人，或像她這樣無依無靠的老人家來看病……

經家訪後，志工為她申請醫藥卡，讓她可以常常來義診中心看病。

數月後，阿嬤相約志工到銀行。阿嬤說，她在銀行有一筆定期存款，那是她一生的儲蓄，她要全部提出來，捐給慈濟。

志工看看數額，整整四萬馬幣，不禁嚇了一跳，再三問阿嬤，真的要把所有的錢捐給慈濟嗎？捐了錢，自己的生活怎麼辦？

阿嬤笑眯眯地掏出一本儲蓄簿，打開給志工瞧瞧。

“我還有二千令吉，這筆錢夠我生活許久了。反正，我每天吃一點點青菜就夠了。”

志工聽說這是阿嬤僅有的錢，再看看阿嬤一身清貧，不禁既感動又心疼，懇請阿嬤再三考慮，是否留下一半存款當作日後的生活費？

“現在經濟不好，生活越來越困難，相信更多人需要慈濟的幫忙；我已經下定決心要把這筆錢全數捐給上人，一分都不留。”

原來，阿嬤到義診中心看病，曾親眼目睹很多貧病交加的窮人，非常渴望得到幫助和膚慰。她也從義診中心的大愛電視台裡“看”上人的開示、“聽”慈濟的故事，知道慈濟從慈善開始，明白慈濟凝聚了每個人的愛心和善念而締造的大愛世界。

她不禁深思：“我這麼老了，還能做什麼？”想到自己一無所有，只有銀行裡的那筆存款……把存款交給志工，阿嬤並無半分不捨，反而無限歡喜，她笑吟吟地說：“我現在真的很安樂；能用這筆錢去幫助貧苦的人，讓他們得到快樂，我覺得很值得！”

Febuary 2009 Recycling Proceeds

The first recycling in year 2009 and for sem3 08/09, a very enjoyable moments for all the volunteers right? =)

Because of this recycling, we managed to reduce two lorries of rubbish on earth,
get them recycled and use the money to help those who are in need,
and the 'fa xi' we got while doing the jobs,
and we had a fun time in 'exercise' while doing the recycling job at the Cyberia vicinity,
and we had sweetly warmly delicious dinner from our shi gu shi bo,
and we getting to know more friends,
and and and ...
so, is it enjoyable? =)
